How can a foreigner get employed in Belarus?<\/p>\n

All categories of foreigners \u2013 whether they hold a permanent residence permit (PRP), a\u00a0temporary residence permit or are staying in Belarus temporarily \u2013 may be employed\u00a0in Belarus.<\/p>\n

If you have just arrived in Belarus, firstly you need to get a temporary registration<\/a>,\u00a0allowing you to\u00a0stay in Belarus for no longer than 90 days in a calendar year.\u00a0If you are planning to stay in\u00a0Belarus for longer you would have to obtain a\u00a0temporary residence permit<\/a>, employment in\u00a0Belarus being the ground for obtaining it.\u00a0Thus, you first get a temporary registration, then\u00a0conclude an employment\u00a0agreement\u00a0with a Belarusian employer and, once the first two steps are\u00a0completed, you may submit documents for obtaining a temporary residence permit.<\/p>\n
