Previously, to do so you had to go to the Department of Citizenship and Migration and we already <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"wrote how to do it (\u043e\u0442\u043a\u0440\u043e\u0435\u0442\u0441\u044f \u0432 \u043d\u043e\u0432\u043e\u0439 \u0432\u043a\u043b\u0430\u0434\u043a\u0435)\" href=\"https:\/\/d9lb3qyw8jhbr.cloudfront.net\/how-can-a-foreigner-stay-in-belarus-legally-registration\/\" target=\"_blank\">wrote how to do it<\/a>. From January 2, you can register in Belarus\u00a0<strong>for free\u00a0<\/strong>through electronic form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>! Only foreigners who enter Belarus through checkpoints on the State Border of Belarus can register in Belarus through <g class=\"gr_ gr_7 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Grammar only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"7\" data-gr-id=\"7\">electronic<\/g> form. Therefore, if you arrived in Belarus from Russia, you will have to personally go to the Department of Citizenship and Migration and you will not be able to register electronically.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to register<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/portal.gov.by\/PortalGovBy\/faces\/oracle\/webcenter\/portalapp\/pages\/main\/home.jspx?_adf.ctrl-state=47zz7scob_4&amp;_afrLoop=2840007544269388&amp;_afrWindowMode=0&amp;_afrWindowId=null#%40%3F_afrWindowId%3Dnull%26_afrLoop%3D2840007544269388%26_afrWindowMode%3D0%26_adf.ctrl-state%3Dos9p9xfy1_17\">the Unified Portal of E-services<\/a>, and create your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/portal.gov.by\/PortalGovBy\/faces\/oracle\/webcenter\/portalapp\/pages\/registration\/registration.jspx?_adf.ctrl-state=os9p9xfy1_4&amp;_afrLoop=2840272964964541\">account<\/a>. While registering, you need to indicate your first and last name, phone number and email address. You will receive a confirmation email, and you will need to change your password.<\/li><li>Go to &#171;My Account&#187; in the upper right corner. In the drop-down menu, select &#171;Citizenship and Migration.&#187; After loading, you will have the service \u201cRegistration of a foreign citizen or stateless person temporarily staying in the Republic of Belarus\u201d. Click &#171;Order&#187;.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"221\" src=\"https:\/\/d9lb3qyw8jhbr.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/registration-field-1024x221.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-697\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d9lb3qyw8jhbr.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/registration-field.png 1024w, https:\/\/d9lb3qyw8jhbr.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/registration-field-300x65.png 300w, https:\/\/d9lb3qyw8jhbr.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/registration-field-768x166.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Then, there will appear a window with an electronic application form, which can be filled out in Russian or English. To fill out an electronic form you will need the same data as the one required at the Department of Citizenship and Migration: <ol><li>Full name of a registering foreigner;<\/li><li>Passport details of a foreigner;<\/li><li>Visa information (if you received one);<\/li><li>Dates of registration. By default, the date starts from the current day, so you shouldn&#8217;t do it beforehand. It\u2019s worth registering in 5 days after arriving in Belarus;<\/li><li>The address of a foreigner\u2019s stay. In this <g class=\"gr_ gr_19 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"19\" data-gr-id=\"19\">section<\/g> you also need to <a href=\"http:\/\/mvd.gov.by\/main.aspx?guid=15581\">specify the Department of Citizenship and Migration<\/a> to which the address of registration belongs. Here you can specify the name of a friend with whom you are going to stay or the organization that has invited you. You can also leave this field blank;<\/li><li>The insurance certificate number and its validity term. <\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u00a0! You can assign electronic registration to your representative or another person who has an account on the Unified Portal of E-services. For example, friends who will host you in Belarus can register you.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Registration through the Portal is free, unlike the registration at the Department of Citizenship and Migration. After filling out and submitting the application form in your Personal Account, in the section \u201cCurrent Services\u201d a notification will appear about the acceptance of the application or the refusal to accept it. Then you will receive a message about the registration at the address you provided or about the registration refusal. You will receive this message to your e-mail, also you will be able to see it in your Personal Account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>! You can use the electronic registration procedure in Belarus only once. If you want to extend your registration in Belarus, you will have to personally contact\u00a0the Department of Citizenship and Migration\u00a0and fill out an application there.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Now the portal has problems, some have tried to register online, but received a report on the system error.
