Open Call: Workshop in Germany about Journalistic Approaches to Queer History

You can now apply for History Unit’s upcoming workshop in Germany

n-ost, Fundacja Autonomia, and Human Constanta launch an open call for a week-long educational and networking program in Berlin, Weimar, and Buchenwald, Germany from October 14-20, 2024. 

We are seeking journalists and activists with journalistic experience from Belarus, Germany, Poland, and Ukraine (regardless of the current place of residence) to explore narratives of queer pasts, with a focus on the persecution of queers under Nazi rule. 

How to apply?

Please, complete the questionnaire by 25.8.2024, 23:59 (CET time). The application should be in English, except for the motivational part, for which you can choose any project language (Belarusian, German, Polish, Ukrainian, English). The selected participants will be informed by 6.9.2024.

Further information

  • Working language of the programme will be mostly English.
  • The program is planned as a full time working week.
  • All costs for accommodation (single or double room), meals (vegetarian) and transport will be covered by the inviting party.
