Human rights organization Human Constanta has collected information about the migration situation with "transit refugees" and is sharing a thematic report on this page. We call this situation a "humanitarian crisis" and recommend, among other things, organizing a humanitarian corridor for the 1,000 people who are still in Belarus.

On August 5, 2021 Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree which thoroughly describes the procedure of loss of citizenship for “extremism”. The procedure is provided by the new version of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of August 1, 2002 No. 136-З "On Citizenship of the Republic of Belarus" (hereinafter - the Law on Citizenship).

In this report, we want to summarize and record the practice that has developed in Belarus during May — august 2021.
